Welcome to Structural Biology Lab!

The Bezsonova lab studies enzymes of ubiquitin pathway often dysregulated in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases to better understand molecular mechanism of their action and develop new therapies.

We integrate multiple structural biology tools such as NMR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM with other biophysical and biochemical methods to determine atomic resolution 3D structures of proteins, map their interactions with binding partners, and characterize their dynamics in solution.

Detailed knowledge of protein structure is used to develop new drugs suitable for anti-cancer therapies.
